This illustration by Anna Emilia Laitinen is so beautiful. There is something so great about 3D artwork. I can imagine this up on my wall without having to frame it. The illustration would just become part of the space/room. It really reminds me of an approaching tropical thunder storm. At the top the droplets look pretty small and actually resemble water, suggesting they are soft when they touch your skin but by the time they hit you they feel like rocks which the bigger droplets resemble...and you stand there looking up trying to figure out how the storm came so suddenly.
