Recently in Slovakia they have cancelled almost all of the telephone booths around the country because no one really used them anymore. Everyone, it seems, has a cellphone these days so I guess telephone booths were only a waste of space. Today I came across this comical handset for your mobile phone, ipad, or laptop called "POP PHONE", designed by a french designer David Turpin. I'm not exactly sure why you would want to buy another handset when your phone basically is a handset and your ipad and laptop has everything you need in order to communicate through Skype or google talk. Don't get me wrong, I think it's quite amusing and an interesting idea, I'm just doubting the practicality of it all. If you would like to purchase it, you can do so here.
