Sam Gibbons is the name behind the kaleidoscopic art I personally cannot get enough of. With a technique similar to ink blots of the Rorschach tests and slightly optical illusionistic elements that can be related back to Op art, it is undeniably a feast for the eyes. The detailing and the depth that is created with 2D images is quite impressive and the cartoon components of Gibbons' artwork are enthralling (one can undoubtedly spend hours on end dissecting the various elements and layers). You do end up feeling a little psychotropic thanks to these amazing paintings.
