What Whitney Houston Taught Me

Via myona

After watching this video, I started thinking about relationships, especially abusive ones. Listening to Whitney talk about her horrible experience with Bobby made me realize one very important thing. For all of you women or men out there with husbands or wives, girlfriends or boyfriends cheating on you, take the example of Whitney. Let her words and her experience be the strength within you. Women (me included) or men tend to blame themselves for the cheating of their spouse. This is the worst thing you could do because in a lot of cases it is far from being the truth. When a man/woman decides to cheat on their partner, usually the problem is in the cheating person NOT the person who is being cheated on. Just like Whitney said, partners who decide to cheat do not deserve the love you give them, and it's only their loss. Eventually they will come around and realize that you were the best thing they could ever hope for and that they threw away a chance to be the happiest people alive. By this time though, you are so much happier than you could ever be with the cheating spouse. Isn't that the greatest revenge of all?
It's just amazing that even after her death, Whitney continues to move people in the right direction. Whitney was truly a superstar, and a woman to be worshipped.

RIP, you will truly be missed.
