TGIF right? For the longest time, I had NO IDEA what that meant (don't judge). I always thought it was a short version of T.G.I. Friday's (yes, the restaurant). But now I can gladly say that I belong to the twenty-first century. (Do I hear a round of applause?)
A great way to spend a weekend morning is to blast out some wonderful music that you can enjoy while either cleaning, enjoying a nice cup of tea or whatever it is you like to do on your days off. I have compiled a playlist for you to enjoy (possibly during the upcoming weekend a.k.a. tomorrow). Enjoy!
Jay-Z & Kanye West - Ni**as in Paris
I spent 3 whole days looking for this song. I heard it on the radio while driving from Monaco to Nice (France) and had no idea who it was by. I just knew the beat at the beginning and that some guy would start randomly "hard-core" rapping all of a sudden. Finally my wonderful sister found it, and I spent a week listening to it non-stop.
Lana Del Rey- Summertime Sadness
I keep on confusing the name of the song by replacing sadness with madness. Nevertheless, this is an amazing song for any season if you ask me.
Wolfmother- Woman
If you are familiar with the TV-series OC California and in love with Mischa Barton and Rachel Bilson as much as I am, then you will recognize this song. I had this song in my i-Tunes library for the longest time (ever since I heard it on OC), but have recently rediscovered it. I am in love with their style, and Andrew Stockdale's (the vocalist) voice which is so reminiscent of Ozzy Osbourne in his Black Sabbath days.
