Surprise

So yesterday I landed in Vienna, and am so excited to be back in Slovakia. I was not as exhausted as I usually am after a flight because business class was amazing. The seats had a massage option, you could alter your seat so you could actually lay down and sleep if you wanted and most of all you got a duvet and an actual pillow (not those miniature ones that you get in economy class). The best part, you got sheets for both the duvet and pillow so that you wouldn't have to lay on someones germs. The "gourmet" 5 course meal was good, not amazing (the chicken I had tasted a bit like a sponge) but the rest was really good. I was absolutely stuffed after I managed to eat everything (well except the chicken). And for breakfast I did the mistake of ticking off (on the little hand out menu they give to you so that they can prepare whatever you would like to have and to see whether it is ok for them to wake you up if you are still sleeping by the time the flight attendants come around and hand out the food) too many things  thinking i was going to be hungry after 7 hours so it was quite comical when I ended up with the most amount of food on my tray in the whole business class without being actually hungry. I was really looking forward to seeing my boyfriend after being apart for four months but he was working all day until  late late at night so we would be able to see each other the next day. But at around 2 a.m. I get a phone call from my boyfriend who is telling me to look outside my window. What a great surprise, showing up unannounced! I was so happy to see him at last.

A day of roses

Speaking of France, a couple years ago, my grandmother came to visit me in Paris. She was looking for a specific body lotion from Fragonard that my aunt loved but could not get it anywhere in Italy (where she lives) so she asked if we could look for it. I have never heard of the label so I was not sure where to look for it. One day, I took my grandmother to the Louvre and there it was, a Fragonard store! Of course I went through all the perfumes and lotions to see what they smell like. They were all wonderful and the scents were so real! But finally I decided on the Rose de mai scent. The first time i put it on, locked in my bathroom, my grandmother who was two closed doors away from me yelled out, "are you putting on the body lotion? It smells so wonderful!" And it did smell magnificent the whole day...I didn't even have to wear perfume! I am so happy I found it. Thank you grandma! :)
