The Last Day

This is the last day of my wait to embark on my journey back home!!! I am too excited. I still have some last minute errands to complete but I bet that at night, I will have trouble sleeping because of the impatience  to be at least an hour away from the landing and the excitement of all the adventures and happy moments that await me the minute I step off that plane. My excitement is pretty much illustrated in the picture of Marilyn Monroe by Philippe Halsman above.

Only two days left until I leave. I can not believe the days go by so fast. I feel like I was just worried about getting my ticket on time, and that was about three weeks ago, so to be at the point where I am worried about packing everything I want is amazing. The departure is creeping up on me much like the "tree man" in the illustration by Arthur Rackham above.

One, two, three..

There are only three days left until my departure, and I am getting more impatient with each day. I have been busy with preparations though so hopefully the flight will "fly" by (pun intended).

The last 4 days...

I have four days left of waiting. It's a really short amount of time considering the fact that I have been waiting 4 MONTHS to go back, but honestly the last days are the hardest for me. Not that I'm an impatient person, but I really do not like waiting. It really seems like the time is passing with the speed of a slow scooter rather than an ultra fast jet (which is the speed I'd prefer) but on the upside, it does not feel like it is snail gliding through the hours.

Only 5 days left to go!

The wait until my journey is quickly getting shorter, yaay! There are only 5 days left of waiting. I am really excited. This time I'm not flying through Paris, as I usually do but I am going straight to Vienna. It will be a long 8 and half hours flight and hopefully not too uncomfortable.
