I fell in love with this image of the Ramones. I just love the classic Chanel-esque fisherman stripe t-shirts juxtaposed with leather biker jackets and skinny jeans.

I Just Want To Have Something To Do

Oh sweet jesus! So I have been listening to these GODS a lot lately. What strikes me the most is that throughout most of their career, the New York Punk band did not get along. In fact, in a Howard Stern interview, Joey Ramone confirmed that when traveling on tour, the four band members would not speak to each other the whole car ride to the gig. This becomes even more unbelievable once you take into account that they have toured practically non stop for twenty two years!  That is two decades and then some - almost the same amount of years of my lifetime!  If you've never heard of the Ramones (like my parents), then you need to get on youtube NOW.

Their debut single Blitzkrieg Bop remains a classic of the Punk Rock movement to this day. Even though many of their most popular songs are amazing, I tend to prefer the ones that are, in my opinion, underrated.

"I Just Want To Have Something To Do" is my all-time favourite song by The Ramones. I love the simplicity of the track's lyrics without sacrificing the meaning of the song. You can totally relate to what they're singing about even though there are only a few words.

Another gem that deserves to be on repeat for days if not weeks.
