This week has been crazy busy. It is the end of the semester for me, which means handing in a whole bunch of assignments and studying for exams. The whole week, I have been looking at my bare hands writing on my computer, trying to finish up everything in time which got me thinking and craving some arm candy, after all diamonds are a girls best friend (or so they say). Here are some pieces I've been eyeing for the past month or so, and I have totally fell in love with the collections of Beso Beso.

This time, the innovative H&M has collaborated with the amazing fashion house of Marni to create a collection that is coming to the stores on the 8th of March.

Birthday Twins

Today is my birthday so I was happy to find out that today of all days is also the birthday of Alexander Calder. An artist I found out about through my high school art teacher, Ms. Leier, who was such an inspiration to me. I was interested in doing a hanging sculpture so she suggested I check out Alexander Calder's mobiles. Obviously I fell in love with his pieces right as I saw them. Then I saw some of his pieces at the Centre Pompidou in Paris which was such an experience. He's honestly one of the most original artists of all time. 

Just wanted to show you this amazing piece of jewelry also by Alexander Calder.

So happy birthday to Alexander Calder (and my wonderful grandmother who's birthday is also today) and anyone else who might be celebrating their birthday on this wonderful  day.
